We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team at YBI for our youth program. As a Youth Program Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in helping us achieve our mission of providing access to virtual reality technology and STEM education to students. YOUTH COORDINATOR -- RESPONSIBILITIES ? Assist in the planning and coordination of virtual reality and STEM education programs for students ? Lead entrepreneurship workshops and virtual reality field trips ? Help with outreach and recruitment efforts to identify and engage with students from diverse backgrounds ? Collaborate with team members to develop program curriculum and educational materials ? Support the development and maintenance of relationships with community partners and stakeholders ? Responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of virtual reality equipment, ensuring its proper functioning and cleanliness ? Assist in the setup and breakdown of program events and activities ? Collect and analyze data on program impact and effectiveness ? Provide general administrative support to the team as needed REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS: · Passion for equity in education and providing opportunities for underrepresented y youth · Strong organizational and communication skills · Ability to work independently and in a team environment · Familiarity with virtual reality technology and STEM education preferred but not Required · Comfortable working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment · Proficient in organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multi-task · Works productively · Demonstrates good judgment, decision-making and confidentiality · . Possesses good verbal and written communication skills, ability to command a classroom · Capable of using G Suites for Calendar, Email, Docs, Drive.
