Field Service Technician - Youngstown, Ohio - JOB 24-00208 Salary Range: $80k - $100k+ Permanent Position with Benefits. Youngstown, Ohio area manufacturer is seeking to hire full time Field Service Technicians to install, maintain, and repair large custom electrical control enclosures. REQUIREMENTS • High School Graduate • Trade school or Associate or Bachelor Degree in Industrial or Electrical Engineering is a plus • 4+ years' experience in the electrical controls field with a solid understanding of switchgear (SWGR), motor control centers (MCC), variable frequency drives (VFD), relay and control panels preferred • Previous installation, start-up, & field service experience preferred to troubleshoot and diagnose issues with electrical systems and components • Mechanical aptitude to assist with large scale controls manufacturing, conduit runs, and field installation to include ability to work in all weather conditions and heights when required • Large scale power control systems knowledge with electrical schematics and drawings reading skills • Knowledge of electrical systems and code requirements (NEC, UL, CSA, IEC, CE, IECex, ATEX, and NFPA) preferred • MUST be open to 30% to $95% travel to work on call 24/7, holidays, and weekends when needed • Must pass physical, drug, driving, and background check Candidates are required to pass a Criminal Background Check and a 10 Panel Drug Screen.
