Responsibilities In this role, you are responsible for overseeing all aspects of the maintenance of the facility and grounds, the provision of utilities, the restoration and renovation of the facility and new construction. Lead and supervise a team, which could include Environmental Services (EVS) staff and Maintenance Mechanics, and manage relationships with numerous vendors. Planning, directing, and supervising all administrative and technical aspects of the department. Oversee the management of various building systems including fuel, electrical, HVAC, fire suppression, medical gases, and more. Actively participating in all hospital committees which impact this department, with specific responsibility on the Safety and Infection Control Committees. Ensure compliance with NFPA Life Safety Code, OSHA regulations, and Joint Commission standards. Qualifications We are seeking results-driven team players. Qualified candidates must be passionate about providing superior quality in all that they do. Minimum Requirements: Requires a minimum of three (3) years of supervisory experience in provision of maintenance, environmental services, and related services in a hospital environment. Requires a College Degree Knowledge of JCAHO/OSHA regulations and standards required. General contractor skills across carpentry, plumbing, electricity, and HVAC. Preferred qualifications that will make you successful: College Degree related to building construction and maintenance preferred.
