JOB SUMMARY - SALES COORDINATOR - URGENTLY NEEDED!

We are currently looking for an experienced and well-organized Sales Coordinator who is ready to make a difference and provide the necessary support to the catering and sales team. The successful candidate will become the point of reference for colleagues and customers alike, by keeping schedules and providing feedback, documentation, and information. The goal is to facilitate the teams activities so as to maximize their performance and the solid and long-lasting development of the department. To be successful in this role, you should have a personable demeanor, a passion for customer service, as well as good networking and financial management skills. Experience in the food service industry is advantageous.

Some of the responsibilities include:

Administer catering operations to include, but not limited to, customer service needs, soliciting accounts, creating catering orders, managing catering stock and inventory, generating invoices, and assisting the Outside Sales Manager with forecasting.

Participate in preparation of, delivery to, and setup/breakdown of catering events.

Communicate event details and requirements with and provide input to team members to execute catering events effectively.

Assist with prospecting for new business through solicitation, networking and cold-calling to drive catering sales.

Assist with tracking and managing catering expenses and maintain accurate budget records.

Prep materials for trade shows, events etc.

Meet or exceed established monthly, quarterly, and annual targeted sales goals and profit margins.

Maintain an active list of accounts to ensure continuous relationship development.

Research food and beverage trends and keep up with innovations in the events and catering industry.

Evaluate customer needs and industry competitive set to provide input for operational changes necessary to ensure customer satisfaction.

Monitor client satisfaction scores, in staff helpfulness, food quality and overall event to focus on continuous improvement of Taco Project Catering.

Adhere to food and health industry regulations and standards.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in similar role and/or catering and/or food service industry is required.

Proficient in Microsoft Office and sales applications.

Team player.

Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Critical thinker and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

A sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on the companys success

Knowledge of food production techniques and banquet operations.

Pay: $20-$22/Hour (rate commensurate with experience) + Bonus Potential
