Looking for an Industrial Hygienist in Wixom, Michigan! Projects will be in Metro Detroit with mileage reimbursement and office will be in Wixom

Tasks/Responsibilities will include:

• Perform asbestos and/or HAZMAT inspection and sampling

• Prepare samples for laboratory analysis, including Chain of Custody documentation

• Review and interpret laboratory results

• Prepare associated asbestos and/or HAZMAT inspection reports

• Oversee and document asbestos and/or HAZMAT abatement operations

• Complete post-abatement verification inspection and associated reporting

This position could help support City of Detroit project, doing pre-demolition inspections on thousands of residential homes.

Skills:

• Asbestos inspection

• Industrial hygiene

• MS Office Suite

Must Haves:

• 2+ years of experience in fields related to asbestos and/or HAZMAT surveys, sample preparation and/or report writing

• Current State of Michigan Asbestos Inspector License or ability to take a refresher course to make it current

• Familiar with EPA and EGLE standards, specifications and guidelines

Experience Level:

• Intermediate Level
