Responsibilities Supervising, planning, organizing, and developing community oriented ambulatory psychiatric, mental health, social work, and counseling/therapy services. Set and adjust short-term priorities, and prepare schedules for completion of work; assign work to subordinates based on priorities. Reviews the clinical practices and procedures and directs the activities of the Behavioral Health staff in accordance with the objectives of the Indian Health Service. Provide mental and psychiatric health maintenance, emergency, and therapeutic services for lifespan patients. Provides independent diagnostic, preventive and therapeutic nursing and medical services for patients of varying complexity and advanced nature utilizing advanced clinical and analytical skills. This position serves as a Supervisor of the Behavioral Health Program which provides integrated behavioral/mental health services to pediatric, adolescent, adult and elderly patients and partners in an out patient setting, coordinating care with medical services at the Fort Yuma Health Center and local tribal entities. Incumbent also provides direct patient care as a licensed independent provider. This position will report to the Clinical Director, Fort Yuma Health Center, Winterhaven, CA.
