The Siemens Calibre product line is seeking a Product Engineer with the capability and desire to make a significant contribution to the IC design industry. This latest addition to our world class team will support the growth of one of the best-in-class Calibre solutions, as part of the Calibre PEX product line.

The Product Engineer position plays an important role in the success of Siemens’ customers as they design state-of-the-art IC products which push the limits of technical complexity, time to market and silicon processes. This person will have the opportunity to work with design companies and R&D to solve technical challenges in the areas of circuit verification and reliability. S/he will have the opportunity to explore different design styles, various application domains, and advanced process geometry nodes.

BS/MS CS/EE or equivalent.

Job Qualifications:

• Product engineer will interact closely with software engineering, product management, applications engineering (AE’s) and customers to position and develop new software solutions for Parasitic Extraction (PEX) applications

• Provide in-depth technical support and training to our customers and AEs, and create knowledge-based collateral to be delivered to internally or externally

• Identify new areas of potential product growth, by exploring new applications, use models, design scenarios and solutions that complements the existing product offering

• Create comprehensive, detailed requirement documents for feasible solution plans. Follow through on these plans with R&D based on clear objectives and milestones.

• Proactively drive successful tool benchmarks to completion through worldwide support teams and AEs, by establishing Calibre PEX best practices, and guarantee they are efficiently deployed by customers.

• Engage proactively with internal and external ecosystem partners in realizing Calibre PEX product differentiation that result in tangible revenue impact, and eradicate competitive threat

• Have a strong background in integrated circuit design, integrated circuit layout, physical verification, and circuit verification

• Excellent presentation skills and ability to develop and deliver compelling content for internal and external audiences.

Additional qualifications include:

• Knowledge of industry trends including, but not limited to, foundry process technologies, integrated circuit design needs, digital design, digital place and route and computing standards.

• Knowledge of industry data formats and concepts such as LEF/DEF, Open Access, Liberty, and Verilog.

• Ability to travel up to 30% of the time

The salary range for this position is $121,400 to $218,500 and this role is eligible to earn incentive compensation. The actual compensation offered is based on the successful candidate’s work location as well as additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education/training.
