ABX Air, Inc. ABX POWERPLANT REPAIR CONTROLLER in Wilmington, Ohio

Description - Oversees records management of powerplants under ABX control and ensures compliance with ABX and federal regulatory requirements - Reviews all records of powerplants being introduced into the ABX system or those returning from shop visits to validate AD/SB completion, LLP status, and availability of required historical documentation - Reviews short term engine lease agreements and ensures leased assets meet all ABX requirements for serviceability -Maintains system for tracking of LLP expirations, AD and SB accomplishment, and required maintenance actions for all assigned powerplants - Interfaces with Engineering, Maintenance Control, and any ABX departments to assist as required by Aircraft Lessor with engine and APU work scope and engine planning - Processes removed engines being sent out for repair to include any open faults for submission to vendor -Monitors inventory in/out surveys to ensure proper tracking and disposition of installed LRUs - Works in coordination with Quality personnel to ensure all engine/APU ETOPS CMP requirements are complied with. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent 10 years aircraft maintenance experience working with 121 air carrier OR 3 years working with 121 air carrier AND hold A&P license Experience with life limited parts, airworthiness directives, service bulletins, engineering orders, engine/APU maintenance manuals Effective communication and recordkeeping skills Ability to prioritize workload and work independently Preferred: Airframe and Powerplant license Engine shop or overhaul experience Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities The contractor will not discharge or in any other manner discriminate against employees or applicants because they have inquired about, discussed, or disclosed their own pay or the pay of another employee or applicant.
