Description:

Saint Francis Hospital, a member of Trinity Health Mid Atlantic, is looking for an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Pre-Admission Testing Team!

Shift

PRN - Day Shift; provide coverage as needed during the week

The Staff RN is a registered professional nurse who assumes responsibility for patient care during the preoperative period. He or she provides direct care involving knowledge of and ability to use the nursing process in assessing, diagnosing, planning, intervening and evaluating patients needs and to ensure positive patient outcomes. Oversees the pre-admission process. Intercedes with physicians and their offices to affect the assessing and education of the preoperative patient.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Associate's Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred

  • Current RN license in the State of Delaware

  • 3-5 years Medical/Surgical experience preferred

  • BLS required.
