ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Under general supervision, the Tech may perform all or any of the following tasks:

  • Use of basic hand tools.
  • Use standard test instruments to troubleshoot electronic circuits.  To include but not limited to oscilloscopes, volt ohmmeters, current meters and current probes.
  • Use soldering and de-soldering equipment to repair circuit boards and electronic circuits per ESD standards.
  • Repair low voltage and high voltage assemblies including potted high voltage modules.

Qualifications:

  • Associates in Electronics preferred or 2 years of experience.
  • Previous troubleshooting and component level repair.
