UNICOM Science & Technology Park is looking for a capable, motivated Junior Systems Administrator to join a team that is responsible for providing IT services and support to our global workforce. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals looking to start their career in system administration and gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment.Responsibilities include: Provide 1st and 2nd level technical support to all UNICOM employees Troubleshooting hardware, software, and network problems Manage enterprise-wide backups Create and update documentation Available outside of working hours to resolve emergencies Install hardware and software Assist with management of multiple local and remote datacentersKnowledge in the following areas: Cisco IOS Google Workspace Linux Microsoft operating systems Nagios TCP/IP in LAN & WAN environments Veeam VMware vCenter/ESXi Site to site and client VPNYou would be working out of our Whitehouse Station, NJ campus.There maybe be requirements for travel to other business locations Monday - Friday.
