GeoStabilization International Sourcing Manager in Westminster, Colorado

Overview

As a Sourcing Manager working for GSI, you will be a key player in allowing the organization to quickly, accurately, and cost effectively respond to our client needs in a fast paced and dynamic environment. This role will serve as the regional spend manager and will support regional savings goals. This role will connect Proposal Development and Planning Phases by working with internal and external stakeholders to obtain quotations, increase estimating accuracy, reduce cost, reduce inventory, and improve operational execution through leveraged supplier relationships.

Responsibilities

What work will I be performing?

  • Serve as regional spend manager and owner of regional savings initiatives.

  • Support proposal development by securing and analyze quotations for materials, subcontracts, logistics, and rental equipment.

  • Support operational planning and execution:

  • Develop project budgets and calculate material take-offs.

  • Negotiate price and commercial terms with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain cost savings and maximize value.

  • Select suppliers/subcontractors and place Purchase Orders for materials, subcontracts, logistics, and rental equipment per budget.

  • Coordinate with PMs, Superintendents, Operations Managers, Regional Directors, Warehouse, and Equipment Team to reduce downtime, optimize logistics, and coordinate equipment moves.

  • Maintain preferred supplier relationships and manage commodities to improve service, expedite needs, reduce project downtime, decrease project costs, and resolve any accounting issues.

  • Effectively manage equipment rental process for reduced cost

  • Maintain and ensure compliance for DBE requirements and mill certs.

  • Subject Matter Expert and Regional Trainer for standardized procurement process and platform.

    Qualifications

    Our offices are in Westminster, CO. This role is a hybrid in-office role. Tue-Thur are in-office with the ability to work remotely on Monday and Fridays.

    What Do I Need to Bring?

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited four-year college or university in Business, Logistics/Supply Chain, or a directly related field with minimum 2 years’ experience in a procurement support function

  • Familiarity with Lean Principles, Max/Min Inventory, Supplier Scheduling and Planning

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a collaborative results-oriented team environment.

  • Personal and professional values and goals aligned with company values and culture including a demonstrated passion for the business and customers.

  • Experienced Microsoft Office user with high level efficiencies in Microsoft Excel

  • Experience in Viewpoint is beneficial

    Salary range: $114,100 - $131,500 per
