The Sr. Maintenance Technician will be a self-starter with high levels of initiative. Responsible for leadership, supporting and maintaining the Westborough, MA manufacturing facility utility systems, including HVAC, Reverse Osmosis/ De-Ionized Water System (RODI), Pre-Treatment Skid, Compressed Gases, Waste Neutralization, Manufacturing Equipment and other building systems. Will respond to Utility and Manufacturing Equipment related alarms, and maintenance issues during manufacturing campaigns. Identify areas of potential, to improve operational performance and compliance. Uphold safety procedures and safe practices. Provide technical support and troubleshooting for manufacturing support equipment during shift. Document all work in CMMS, and equipment logbooks. Assess equipment needs and provide recommendations on system improvements, Spare Parts and Inventory.

This position is part of the Facilities team located in Westborough, MA and will be on-site. At Cytiva, our vision is to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Perform daily rounds of plant utilities, Monitor BMS and ensure all equipment is operating and maintained per Cytiva guidelines.

  • Perform preventative/corrective maintenance on Manufacturing Equipment and Building Utilities. Review and complete assigned work orders in a timely manner.

  • Investigate equipment failures and perform repairs. React to loss of electrical power and building disruptions.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • High School Diploma / Technical School Diploma / GED required.

  • 3-5+ years of experience as a Facility/Manufacturing Equipment Technician in a regulated environment such as medical device or pharmaceutical manufacturing.

  • Proficiency in using CMMS, BMS, and QMS systems. Ability to lift 50+ pounds to a height of 4 feet, work a rotating On-Call schedule, ability to work weekends if business needs exist.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Facilities/Maintenance certification or trade certification preferred.

  • State license in requisite trades preferred.

  • Class 2 Wastewater Operator preferred.
