What does a Production Technician do at Swire Coca-Cola? Run automated manufacturing equipment to produce a variety of beverages in the production facility. Responsible for basic maintenance of the equipment/machines operated. Shift Details: 4:00pm - 4:30am (Rotating 2/3, 3/2 every other weekend, OT as needed) Responsibilities: * Operate and monitor less complex equipment and machines under general supervision; replenish materials as needed throughout the production shift * Set up machinery and ensure all production materials are available and ready * Visually inspect production run and document results * Provide basic maintenance of equipment, to include cleaning, inspection of equipment, and lubrication * Maintain cleanliness of the work area; maintain organized workspace * Perform quality review of equipment to maintain safety and performance standards * Support Continuous Improvement by participating in root cause / corrective action analyses when equipment is not performing at optimal level * Follow established safety, quality and environmental policies, practices, and programs * Performs other duties as assigned Requirements: * High School Diploma (or GED) required * Knowledge of manufacturing, production operations, and industrial technology preferred * Ability to work weekends and holidays as directed by the business * Ability to lift 50 pounds frequently * Ability to bend, stoop, and kneel frequently * Ability to ascend and descend sets of stairs - both metal grate and concrete - on a frequent basis
