Contributes towards the delivery of quality health care with a concern for the well-being of those served. Provides high quality patient care by performing intake assessment, determining diagnosis, developing and maintaining a treatment plan, concurrent reviews and discharge planning for patients in the Behavioral Health Program. Therapy may include individual, family, couples or group counseling as appropriate, using clinically sound and evidence-based practices as current with state of employment Mental Health laws, regulatory agencies, and policies and standards of care.
Qualifications:
In addition to bringing humankindness to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:
Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work or related field
Two years of direct behavioral clinical experience providing individual, group or family therapy in an inpatient or outpatient setting Competence with DSM diagnostic criteria and treatment planning.
Demonstrates clinical and ethical professionalism, conflict resolution and critical thinking skills. EAP knowledge and experience, preferred
Current State of employment License in one of the following disciplines:
Clinical Psychologist (PSY),
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW),
Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC),
or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
- BLS
Sedentary work - prolonged periods of sitting and exert up to 10 lbs. force occasionally
This PRN therapist role has to be flexible to cover our teams shifts as needed. We typically need coverage from 8:00am to 5:00pm on weekdays but it could be evening shifts. When we get high volumes our PRN therapists can also pickup shifts.
