About the role:

The Director of Operations is the strategic leader responsible for and experienced in the areas of field service, manufacturing (fabrication and assembly), supply chain & logistics, and continuous improvement to drive sustainable results. As a member of the USP leadership team, the successful candidate will lead a team of 24 associates across the United States & Canada impacting quality, delivery, and cost in support of operations continuity and sustained business growth. This individual will also champion the Veralto culture and promote excellence and engagement through the application of Veralto Enterprise System (VES) principles including safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and profitability within operations.

This position can be remote or located in the ChemTreat Corporate HQ in Glen Allen, VA. This position is posted in several locations for marketing purposes but just one position is available.

In this role, you will:

  • Direct, plan, and implement strategy, policies, objectives, operational activities and internal control procedures in accordance with the overall business strategy to achieve profitability, growth and operational results

  • Be accountable for and drive continuous improvement of Equipment Services, Supply Chain & Logistics, Engineering, and Manufacturing (fabrication and assembly)

  • Develop and drive, through direct leadership, the strategic initiatives to further the objectives set forth by the USP strategic plan

  • Develop best-in-class Operations organization, processes and procedures based on expert understanding, industry experience and insights into future direction

  • Drive culture of customer service through customer VOC, problem solving and quality initiatives to meet customer demand

Are you qualified?

  • Bachelor’s degree required preferably in operations management, supply chain, engineering or another engineering related discipline

  • Minimum of 5 years’ management experience with progressive career growth in service, manufacturing, engineering, supply chain, or related field; preferred experience in lean and/or process-oriented environments

  • Demonstrated success leading teams with managerial courage, ability to drive for results, and a sense of urgency

  • Must be a strategic thinker, able to execute at a tactical level with proven leadership skills and abilities

  • Proven track record of success in talent assessment, development and planning

The salary range for this role is $160,000-$190,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
