Wells Fargo Senior Technology Business Systems Consultant in WEST DES MOINES, Iowa

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Technology Business Systems Consultant. This resource will be partnering with engineers on designing and developing critical application features for the Community Reinvestment Act(CRA) reform regulation. This resource will be developing application data sourcing enrichments, database design refactoring and new/enhanced web page interface functionality for the CRARM and CCN applications to meet current CRA regulation and the anticipated regulation changes due at the end of 2025.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead or participate in providing technology initiatives for simple to moderately complex business problems within technology business systems

  • Contribute to the development of systems and procedures that are both cost effective and meet the relevant business requirements

  • Evaluate moderately complex business, operational, or technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of planning and direction conducted to resolve complex business problems

  • Partner with business and technology teams to evaluate moderately complex business problems and lead a team to provide comprehensive technological solutions

  • Act as an internal consultant within technology and business groups by using quality tools and process definition or improvement to re-engineer technical processes

  • Collaborate and consult with business and technology teams to evaluate and resolve issues in order to provide technological solutions and manage both project schedules and deliverables

  • Coordinate communication and information flow between business and technology teams

Required Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of Business Systems Data experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

  • Problem solving - utilize domain expertise and leverage experience to work through roadblocks/constraints

  • Communication - ability to provide awareness to stakeholders at all levels of the organization

  • Knowledge and understanding of Systems Development Lifecycle (SDLC)

  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills

  • Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals in a dynamic and complex environment

  • Schedule and participate in release/maintenance deployment and post install monitoring

  • Self-starter with the ability to operate independently with minimal oversight

  • Ability to partner effectively across functional, operational and business lines

  • Ability to consult, build and maintain solid working relationships across all organization levels
