Blue Origin LLC Summer 2025 Electrical System Engineering Intern - Undergraduate in Wedgwood, Washington

Interns work directly with our experienced engineers in support of our business units. The internship is 12 weeks. Intern Project Focus: Projects may involve many aspects of applied electronics and electrical engineering including avionics hardware (from PCBs to electrical systems), software, hardware in the loop, instrumentation & controls, system test, power systems, communication systems, mechanical systems, propulsion systems, manufacturing, and systems engineering. This position will directly impact the history of space exploration and will require dedicated commitment and detailed attention towards safe and repeatable spaceflight. Required Qualifications: Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum. Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program and have at least one semester or quarter of school remaining after the internship. Completed at least one year of full-time coursework post high school graduation at the time of application (obtained sophomore standing). Available to work full time for a minimum of 12 weeks while not concurrently enrolled in coursework. Strong written, verbal, communication, and interpersonal skills. Passion for space. Relevant internship/co-op and academic project experience that demonstrate development of both technical skills as well as leadership qualities. Hands-on project experience. Experience with design and test of Avionics (electrical, mechanical). Experience with robotics.
