GE Healthcare Clinical Applications Leader – Peripheral Focused Ultrasound in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin

Job Description Summary

In this role you will be responsible for clinical development of our Peripheral Focused Ultrasound (PFUS) Products. This role is the interface between Engineering, Product, Commercial Marketing and Advanced Applications to integrate product roadmap requirements. In addition, this role will be responsible for defining sonographer clinical & training procedures for large scale clinical trials related to our PFUS products.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities

  • Define, support the design and refinement of image quality and advanced feature – interface between engineering and clinical users

  • Define, develop & execute clinical & sonographer training plans for PFUS clinical trials in the development phase of PFUS products.

  • Communicate user feedback to product development teams for pilots and NPIs, transfer (clinical) expertise into product roadmap definition

  • Define appropriate clinical sites & partners for testing advanced applications and create or sustain reference sites

  • Identify any opportunities to use the results of product development projects in sales situations or marketing material; facilitate and support the transfer of this information into the corresponding marketing and product management teams

  • Ensure high quality training is delivered to the right users (internal / external)

  • Develop awareness and familiarity with market trends, government regulatory impact and competitive influences

  • Report summary data from scientific congresses, customer seminars and internal training events

Required Qualifications

  • Relevant scientific or clinical degree, or hospital registrations or equivalent knowledge / experience as sonographer in the application of medical diagnostic Ultrasound

  • Experience in Ultrasound technology and clinical understanding, knowledge in the application of medical diagnostic Ultrasound and on Ultrasound anatomy and pathology more specific in Ultrasound in General Imaging

  • Demonstrated technical understanding and a minimum of proven engineering experience

  • Demonstrated ability to understand, communicate and translate clinical customer needs to engineering, supported with data and clinical evidence

  • Fluent in English & excellent communication skills - verbal and in writing - to communicate with key opinion leaders on clinical needs and being able to translate them into engineering requirements

  • Demonstrated global, cross-functional project management experience
