Job Summary The Palliative Nurse Practitioner is a Master\'s prepared nurse who acts as a consultant, educator, leader, clinical role model and nursing research resource in the specialty of palliative medicine. Demonstrates advanced knowledge, competency and skill in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of acute and chronic illness and disease. In addition, the APN has clinical privileges and performs delegated activities under direction of and in collaboration with a physician. Population Served: Provides care to patients in need of palliative care in both inpatient and outpatient settings across ProHealth Care.
