GE Healthcare Executive Lean Leader, MR in Waukesha, Wisconsin

Job Description Summary

The MR Lean Leader will support all MR functions to simplify and improve operating processes for greater efficiency and bottom-line impact directly tied to business priorities and deliverables.

Through analyzing processes, diagnosing operational challenges, and implementing process changes, the MR Lean Leader will work closely with the MR Leadership team to drive and enable continuous improvement and breakthrough performance.

This position will have an important role in running MR operating reviews and coaching/supporting KPI owners to achieve the targeted outcomes along with driving business critical assignments with long-term business implications, especially focused on MR Path to Leadership (PtL) initiatives across operations, engineering, product, and sales & marketing.

This position will facilitate the MR LEAN culture transformation as well as implement daily management systems and problem-solving process rigor to identify root-causes with counter measure solutions.

Job Description

Key responsibilities include:

  • Drive efforts to create and improve business KPI performance by utilizing Lean, Six Sigma, Advanced Manufacturing and Digital Solutions

  • Expert in the Lean principles such as 3P concepts, Problem Solving (using PSP), DMS, VSM, etc.

  • Provide overall Lean leadership and simplification to key areas of the business

  • Support leadership to execute business vision and strategy and to identify and resolve critical business process gaps and opportunities.

  • Work with the operating leaders to develop strategic deployment planning as well as specific goals and priorities that drive lean principles and concept across the business • Serve as a change agent by influencing, communicating and institutionalizing a culture of simplification and standardization • Improve customer satisfaction by driving and executing project that will increase the say/do ratio • Communicate progress, status and issues to the business leaders • Develop platform to share and institutionalize best practices• Develop and deliver Lean training at all levels of the organization

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in any technical or analytical domain with preference for Engineering and Supply Chain degrees.

• At least 10 years industry experience and at least 5+ additional years of Lean and operational leadership role

• Understands Lean toolset with proven results across various functional areas and/or in cross-functional domains. Ability to facilitate and conduct Kaizen events

• Demonstrated leadership, energizing global team and global project management

• Proven ability to drive and manage change initiatives in a matrix environment

• Lean trained with demonstrated ability to apply tools and process rigor.

  • Ability to accurately assess key business metrics and situations from a general manager’s perspective

  • Familiarity with lean methodologies

  • Excellent time and project management

  • Successfully managed multi-million-dollar budget

  • Technical Expertise - Possess the technical skills necessary to be

  • credible; must have significant practitioner experience in Growth &

  • Lean tools and processes

  • Proven ability to bring order and structure to function and

  • organization quickly

  • Demonstrated successful leadership and proficiency in building

  • and implementing lean business system/practices for global

  • manufacturing organization (in a variety of situations)

  • Strategic mindset with hands-on approach

  • Strong commercial focus on customer and end user experience

For U.S. based positions only, the pay range for this position is $164,500.00-$305,500.00 Annual. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the pay range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience and location. In addition, this position may also be eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
