Jefferson Lewis BOCES Teacher of the Deaf and Hearing Impaired in Watertown, New York

TITLE: Teacher of the Deaf & Hearing Impaired LOCATION: Jefferson-Lewis BOCES with Itinerant Assignment: This is an itinerant assignment serving the school districts within Jefferson & Lewis Counties. RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES: The Teacher of the Deaf & Hard of Hearing provides specialized instruction to K-12 students who have a hearing disability. Services include direct instruction, consultation, and co-teaching as appropriate. Preferred candidates will possess solid interpreting skills. QUALIFICATIONS: NYS Certification as Teacher of Deaf & Hearing Impaired or Teacher of the Deaf & Hard of Hearing. COMPENSATION & BENEFITS: $50,609- $57,453. Commensurate with certification/experience in keeping with the current negotiated agreement with the BOCES Professional Association.
