Trinity Health Registered Nurse RN ED Behavioral Health in Waterbury, Connecticut

Description:

Position Purpose

At Saint Mary’s Hospital, our Behavioral Health Team brings a compassionate approach to meet the unique need of our patients, We treat various behavioral health diagnosis such as depression and other mood disorders, schizophrenia, and substance use disorders.

What you will do:

  • Conduct intake screenings, evaluate symptoms, and triage patients based on their condition

  • Assess patients’ mental health needs, including observing their behavior and evaluating their progress

  • Coordinate care, ensuring accurate diagnoses and appropriate medication adjustments

  • Work closely with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, psychologists, and social worker

Minimum Qualifications

  • Education : Graduate of an accredited college or university affiliated nursing program. BSN graduates preferred.

  • Licensure : Current Licensure as a Registered Nurse RN in Connecticut.

  • Certification : BLS required.
