The Role in Brief:

Senior Director, Creative Operations

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Director of Creative Operations to spearhead the creative endeavors of the Adult Learner Recruitment’s Program Marketing division. This division is at the forefront of designing and delivering highly scalable, data-driven marketing solutions that forge meaningful connections between our +100 college and university partners and their prospective students. Reporting directly to the VP of Program Marketing, the Senior Director of Creative Operations will be a pivotal leader, overseeing the multimedia design team, content strategy, copy teams, and digital marketing teams. We seek an exceptional people manager with a strategic and operational mindset, fueled by a passion for scaling creative initiatives and cultivating high-performing teams.

This hire may be based in Richmond, VA or Washington, D.C.

Primary Responsibilities:

Team Management & People Development:

  • Lead and inspire a cross-functional team, fostering collaboration and scalable innovation.

  • Build and lead a high-performing team by mentoring and developing talent, setting clear expectations, instilling mutual accountability, and recognizing and rewarding results.

  • Manage the Directors of the creative and digital teams, ensuring effective resource management for top-quality project delivery within specified scope, time, and budget.

  • Work closely with creative professionals to understand their needs and guide the creative process.

  • Provide ongoing feedback, coaching, and support to nurture a high-performance team.

    Operational Excellence:

  • Develop and implement operational strategies to streamline creative processes and enhance team efficiency.

  • Oversee the execution and measurement of functional goals.

  • Establish and utilize data-driven insights to inform decisions and drive continuous improvement within the creative and digital teams.

  • Ensure teams stay aligned, managing expectations and troubleshooting as necessary.

    Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Collaborate closely with other departments, especially Operations and Partner Success, aligning creative strategies with well-defined projects and success metrics.

  • Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders, ensuring seamless integration of creative initiatives across channels.

  • Host regular leadership meetings, present at team "In Days," and support discussions with key stakeholders and executives as needed.

    Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • Must possess a minimum of 10+ years’ experience encompassing all of the following:

  • Collaborative work across an organization, driving scalability

  • Leadership in a creative or digital marketing environment

  • People management, inspiring diverse teams

  • Operational mindset with a focus on scalability and efficiency.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to establish trust, build relationships, and influence people.

  • Thrives in a high-volume, fast-paced, dynamic environment, adapting to changing priorities.

    Ideal Qualifications:

  • Desire to enhance creative processes and workflows for on-time deliverables.

  • Higher Education Enrollment Management/recruitment experience is a plus.

    Compensation:

    The anticipated starting salary (base) range for this role is $123,000 - $142,000 per year. Actual salary varies due to factors that may include but not be limited to relevant experience, skills, and location. At EAB, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the starting salary range for their role.

    This hire will additionally be eligible for discretionary bonus or incentive compensation. Variable compensation may depend on various factors, such as individual and organizational performance.
