COUNTY OF WASHINGTON Children and Youth Administrator in Washington, Pennsylvania

Washington County has an immediate opening for the Chief Administrator of their Children and Youth Services Department. This individual is responsible to plan, oversee, direct, and organize the activities and operations of the Children and Youth Agency with community needs in the prevention of child abuse and neglect, including a comprehensive knowledge of child welfare programs, laws, policies, and regulations governing departmental operations.

Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree with at least five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the field of social services, including two (2) years in an administrative or supervisory capacity in a children and youth social services program agency; or any equivalent combination of experience and training. Must possess strong interpersonal and communication skills in managing a large professional human services staff, and the ability to work effectively with various officials and members of the public. Master's Degree is preferred. Computer skills required.
