Strongbridge Systems/Data Administrator in Washington, District Of Columbia

NOT A REMOTE POSITION 1-2 days/month onsite at DC work location

Systems Administrator will resolve complex incidents in a federal cloud environment workspace. The Systems Administrator will collaborate closely with cybersecurity and engineering teams to solve problems, provide expertise, and maintain cybersecurity compliance, aligned to federal guidelines.

Responsibilities:

  • Provides support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systems
  • Manages IT system infrastructure and any processes related to these systems
  • Provides support to IT systems including: day-today operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all of the client problems
  • Provides support in SharePoint administration, installation, migration, implementation, topology, and server configuration (Web and Index)
  • Works independently, designing, planning, implementing, and maintaining complex SharePoint Server 2013/2016 and SQL server environments, including implementation, configuration and support of web front end servers, index servers, and application and search servers
  • Supports all components of the SharePoint environment including form, administrative site collection administration activities such as site creation, user training, backup, restore, performance analysis, and issue resolution
  • Assists in the design, architecture, availability, reliability, and security of future SP environments and work with customers to document administrative tasks and verify service level agreement requirements are being met
  • Works closely with staff to provide advice and support to properly implement engineering efforts into test/dev and production environments
  • Works with other technical staff to train them on proper SharePoint Administration and troubleshooting techniques as well as outline standard processes and procedures for administration and engineering
  • Develops and participates in development of configuration documentation relating to the server and SharePoint configuration environments as well as integrations to other systems.

Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree + 8 years of work experience or HS Diploma + 10 years of work experience
  • 5+ years of experience with SQL administration.
  • 5+ years of experience SharePoint 2013 (or newer) Administration and design.
  • 5+ years of experience with Relational Database and operating systems.
  • 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Active Directory Administration.
  • 5+ years of experience with writing, modifying and running PowerShell Scripts
  • 5+ years of experience administrating SharePoint 2013 (or newer), and SharePoint fundamentals including out of the box webparts, workflows, lists, content types, and master pages.

Pay Range: $100k-$120k

The posted pay range reflects the range expected for this position at the commencement of employment, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and internal equity.
