Position Summary:

MIRACORP is searching for a dynamic, customer-focusedExecutive Administrative Assistantto support the highest levels onsite inWashington, D.C.This position requires candidates tohold an activeSecret Clearance or be eligible for an Interim Secret Clearance. This role is responsible for all aspects of administrative support including but not limited to: correspondence, managing schedules, preparing documents, presentations and talking points in advance, acts as gatekeeper, follows up on meetings, external contacts, and ensures smooth facilitation and operations of the office.

This position will provide high-level Executive Support Services to our customers' Senior Executive Leaders.

Primary Responsibilities include:

  • Provides exceptional administrative and executive support related tasks supporting the Department of Energy/SCEP Office.

  • Plans, coordinates, and performs activities which contribute to the effective management of Department of Energy/SCEP Office and the optimum utilization of resources.

  • Ensures content reflects proper grammar and format prior to presenting for final approval. Responsibilities include providing programmatic and policy related support to the Department of Energy/SCEP Office.

  • Assignments require the incumbent to maintain a personal and confidential relationship with senior management. Incumbent is responsible for handling sensitive and confidential special assignments.

  • Assignments may entail interaction with higher ranking members within Department of Energy/SCEP Office, other agencies, or with significant representatives of Congress or private sector businesses.

  • Responsible for scheduling and making all appointments, drafting, proofreading, and/or preparing correspondence for signature, coordinating travel and conferences, development of itineraries, preparation of meeting minutes, and the development or coordination of formal briefing materials.

  • Arrange and schedule meetings and video teleconferences, monitor the executive's e-mail for incoming requests for information and/or comment.

  • Compile and prioritize e-mails and alert the executive.

    As a member of the Department of Energy/SCEP Office team the incumbent will also support hiring/staffing actions, training, GAO audits, and CATT tasker responses and other Executive Support duties as assigned. This is a high visibility role.

Qualifications

Your Experience:

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen

  • Must have an Active Secret clearance, or able to obtain.

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Familiar with SharePoint

  • BS/BA degree

  • 5 years of executive administrative experience supporting Federal Government SES Managers

  • In lieu of BS/BA degree an additional 5 years of experience is acceptable.
