Minimum Education □ Bachelor’s degree X Preferred □ Required

Required Skills Licenses: Current Virginia State RN License Certifications: X Basic Life Support (BLS) □ Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Required for ED, all inpatient units, OPSP, IR, PACU, Cardiac Cath Lab, Cardiac Rehab. (New grads have 6 months to obtain) □ Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Required for ED, PACU, 3S Pediatric Designated Staff (New Graduates have 6 months to obtain).

Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

Minimum Work Experience Required: Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse, except for specialized new graduate program(s). Preferred: 2 years of nursing experience
