About the Position: Incumbent is an Information Technology Specialist with responsibility for providing guidance and information security requirements to ensure application records are protected and trusted. Responsibilities Serves as an IT Specialist to provide guidance and information security requirements to ensure application records are protected and trusted. Obtains Authority to Operate (ATO) or completes a Self-Assessment to ensure software solutions are Risk Management Framework compliant. Develops as an author and/or reviews as an editor; TACOM regulations, policies, memorandums, procedures, letters of instruction, forms, presentations and dashboards for records and publications and forms management programs. Implement practices and standards that meet DoD and Army standards for information and cybersecurity risk management. Conducts research and benchmarks best business practices to life cycle manage the creation or receipt of a record; maintenance, safe storage, retrieval, or general use of a record; and disposal of a record. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: 1) Managing army records and publications and forms management; and 2) Develops and/or interprets regulations and policies for automated systems and business processes; and 3) Experience in coordinating and collaborating with a team of business and IT professionals; and 4) Conducts research for new automated systems and/or emerging technologies. The specialized experience must include, or be supplemented by, information technology related experience (paid or unpaid experience and/or completion of specific, intensive training, as appropriate) which demonstrates each of the four competencies, as defined: Attention to Detail - Is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail.
