Description

We are looking for an Electronic Technician to support break/fix efforts for one of Robert Half's Government clients. This role will involve receiving customer returns, diagnosis, repair, and mechanical assembly.

Responsibilities:

• Perform technical functions in support of engineering activities.

• Construct, calibrate, adjust, test and maintain equipment, components, devices or systems.

• Work from documentation, written or verbal instructions, schematics, rough sketches, diagrams, layouts and plans.

• Apply comprehensive knowledge and practical understanding of electronic theory and principles.

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with analog, digital and/or video circuits and logic systems.

• Conduct testing in a development mode and determine methods or actions to correct malfunctions or design problems.

• Recommend modifications to engineering designs as necessary.

• Assist in the design, construction, test and checkout of test equipment.

• Supervise and train new team members on planning processes and company policies.

• Liaise with supervisor, peer groups and customers on a daily basis.

Requirements

Systems-level diagnosis experience

Strong knowledge of schematics and mechanical drawings

Ability to install software

Experience performing mechanical assembly & testing
