The Impact You’ll Make in this RoleAs a Supply Planner, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

  • Drive the use of SAP and supply chain toolsets to deliver targeted customer service levels and desired inventory levels.

  • Execute supply planning standard work and drive standard work adherence metrics.

  • Partner with manufacturing, business, lab, sales, quality and account teams.

  • Identify opportunities and utilize continuous improvement methodologies to drive sustainable service, inventory turns, and non-working inventory improvements.

  • Coordinate activities to ensure supply for, seasonal, promotional or load ins for assigned businesses within the division.

  • Assist business group operations with capacity planning, demand and supply synchronization, and executing against strategic business targets.

  • Communicates regularly and effectively to varying levels of the organization regarding project execution and status.

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start)

  • Five (5) years of combined experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Operations in a private, public, government or military environment.

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain/Operations Management or related field from an accredited university.

  • Experience in production planning.

  • Experience working with SAP.

  • Experience working with MS Office.

  • Experience in leading and participating in cross-functional teams.

  • Strong analytical skills (able to perform data analysis with mass data sets).

  • Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, and self-motivational skills.

  • APICS/ASCM certification.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

Work location:

  • Work Your Way Eligible (Employee choice to work remote, on site, or hybrid)

Travel: May include up to 5% domestic/international

Applicable to US Applicants Only:The expected compensation range for this position is $106,331 - $129,960, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience.
