Job Description:

H&E Equipment Services has an immediate opening for an ambitious individual to fill the position of Sales Invoicing Coordinator at our Corporate Headquarters in Baton Rouge, LA.

This position reports to the Assistant Corporate Controller and will be responsible for entering, auditing, and processing equipment sales for all locations nationwide (120 and growing). The Sales Invoicing Coordinator also works closely with the credit, tax and vehicle compliance departments to ensure compliance and conflict resolutions are handled in a timely manner. Our ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented, master multi-tasker with outstanding communication skills who is ready to hit the ground running!

Job Responsibilities:

  • Review all documentation received to ensure accuracy prior to billing finalization

  • Ensure accurate and timely entry of all data recorded to financials

  • Maintain accurate invoicing records to meet audit as well as data retention requirements

  • Communicate effectively with branch managers as well as upper management

  • Create invoices and other documents pertaining to the sales process

  • Assist with financial audits

  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Must be detail-oriented with the ability to effectively multi-task

  • Excellent time management and organizational skills

  • Possession of exceptional communication (both written and verbal) and conflict resolution skills

  • Demonstrate proficiency in MS office products such as Word, Excel, and Outlook

  • A strong sense of urgency pertaining to deadlines

  • Prior invoicing/bookkeeping is preferred and experience using SAP is a plus

  • Experience in the construction or heavy equipment industry will be beneficial
