YOUR ROLE

  • The Sales Engineer will be responsible for supporting and managing existing customers who use and incorporate Henkel's Aluminum and Steel Coil Coating products in their manufacturing activities.

  • Provide Technical sales support and identify business potential within accounts.

  • Qualification and implementation of products to customer requirements, forecast updates, maintenance of the CRM system, coordination of specification reviews, follow up of the results of samples delivered to customer, preparation of monthly reports, and troubleshooting.

  • Timely and effective communication about the account strategy execution to members of management, customers, other Henkel personnel, and any involved outside third parties.

  • Be responsible for full utilization of Henkel CRM (ACE) to manage growth opportunities and projects aligned with our account and SBU strategic initiatives, and to document and capture all customer related actions and activities.

YOUR SKILLS

  • Bachelor’s degree required in Business, Chemistry, Engineering, or related area.

  • Technical sales focused.

  • Experience in Metal pretreatment preferred, areas of expertise in steel, aluminum, coatings, pretreatment.Will be supporting customers in both the coil and general industry arenas.

  • Willingness to travel 50% of the time to include travel the Kansas City, MO area roughly 10 times per year.

  • Would prefer a candidate based in Rancho Cucamonga, CA area, targeting customers along the west coast.

  • Excellent communication, collaboration and relationship building skills required.

The salary for this role is $85,000.00 - $125,000.00. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range. This salary range may also be modified in the future.
