Our Card Processing Solutions team is seeking a Programmer Analyst to join their team. In this role, you will provide programming support for existing software enhancements by working directly with both customers and internal teams. As a Programmer Analyst, both troubleshooting and debugging skills will be used extensively. To be successful in this position, you must have a proven track record showing: excellent customer service skills, the ability to multi-task, and success working within a team environment.

We are committed to reducing impact and providing excellent customer service and quick resolutions should issues arise. The Programmer Analyst will be an integral part of meeting our commitments. We work closely with the development, QA, install, and Release teams allowing the opportunity for advancement. This position may be worked remotely within the United States.

What you’ll be responsible for:

  • Develops programming code for new and/or existing software enhancements.

  • Devises block diagrams, logic procedures and prepares flowcharting.

  • Troubleshoots and debugs existing code.

  • Tests code and fixes to ensure quality.

  • Develops conversion and system implementation plans; implements newly created code and fixes into existing software.

  • Provides programming support for various interfaces.

  • Keeps customers informed of all enhancements, troubleshooting, and fixes; may assist the customer in determining if and how system enhancements may improve process flow and business function.

  • Creates all programming documentation; may include defining the system and functional requirements of the product.

  • May complete project bids and/or work effort estimates. Interacts with customers to gather system requirements.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What you’ll need to have:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in programming in RPG.

  • Able to prioritize and juggle multiple tasks.

  • Able to work extended hours as business needs dictate.

  • Ability to work on-call rotations.

What would be nice for you to have:

  • Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in CIS or data processing field is preferred.

  • Excellent communication and customer interaction skills.

  • Experience in a financial institution is preferred.

  • Knowledge of Turnover Change Management System preferred.

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.

  • SQL experience is preferred.
