Job Description

GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide research support identifying potential impacts of the border barrier system.

Coordinate with different groups data collection and spatial analysis.

Provide outputs for the identification of research and restoration sites.

Field work, site visits, event planning.

Other duties as required.

Required Education:

Ph.D. in wildlife management, conservation science, or closely related field is required.

Required special knowledge, abilities, and skills:

Good communication and computer skills.

Ability to multi task and work cooperatively with others.

Preferred special knowledge, abilities, and skills:

Knowledge of landscape ecology principles

Strong spatial analysis skills

ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS online, ENVI, FRAGSTATS, Python, R

Big data management
