Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

-Conduct molecular biology experiments to analyze gene functions.-Prepare the samples and analyze the data from RNAseq experiments.-Support the breeding team by conducting the screening for the amount of root-secreted chemicals.-Design the experiments with the PI. Write the results and disseminate as peer-reviewed manuscript.-Disseminate the results through conferences.

-Other duties as required.

Required Education: -Ph.D. in a relevant area

Required skills, knowledge or abilities:

Good communication and computer skills

Ability to multi task and work cooperatively with others.

Preferred skills, knowledge or abilities:

-Proficiency in molecular biology.-Experience with high performance liquid chromatography.-Ability to write scientific articles.
