The Finance Team includes Accounting, Finance Business Partnership, Finance Operations, Financial Systems, Internal Audit, Investor Relations, Tax, and Treasury teams. Together, the team partners with leadership to provide insights, information, and guidance to make strategic and operational decisions, inform investors about our business model and progress, and ensure the company is financially healthy and consistently meeting our reporting obligations.

We’re looking for a Manager, Accounts Payable (PTP) to join Snap, Inc! Working closely with the Accounting team, you will handle a wide range of procure to pay, travel, and entertainment and bookkeeping activity. You’ll collaborate with other Accounting team members to synthesize large amounts of data and tell the story behind the numbers.

What you’ll do:

• Support Accounts Payable key activities including Vendor Maintenance, Po Creation, Invoice Processing, and Payments

• Assist with the management of AP email inboxes and ticketing systems to ensure that internal SLA’s and KPIs are met and inquiries are responded to in a timely fashion

• Manage Procure to Pay systems and automations as an administrator, including managing errors and improving functionality and processing rates

• Ensure timely and accurate vendor payments, proper coding, and compliance with internal controls

• Manage Snap’s Spotlight, Creator and Revenue Share payments process

• Manage 1099, withholding tax and 1042 processing

• Cross functionally support all travel and expense reporting and our corporate card program

• Work closely and effectively with other departments within Snap to identify solutions and support new business opportunities

• Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with Company policy and accepted accounting practices

• Design and implement solutions to support processing of new markets, ensuring proper handling of all regulatory and withholding tax requirements

• Assist Senior AP Manager in implementation of policies and procedures and other projects, as needed

• Serve as a mentor to junior staff, provide coaching and feedback as well as lead training and development for staff

• Lead month-end close procedures and balance sheet reconciliations

• Investigate issues and resolve them at root cause, leading the team to better efficiencies

• Provide support for internal and external audit and other ad-hoc projects, review and own process narratives and ensure all controls are fully implemented and functioning as designed

• Manage company intranet site for AP, Expense and Purchasing

Knowledge, skills, and abilities:

• Excellent interpersonal skills and customer service skills to interact with employees and vendors in a professional, confidential manner

• Experience with Managing a team

• Thorough knowledge of applicable accounts payable/general ledger systems and procedures

• Familiarity with automations in the PTP Space (UiPath a plus)

• Experience in an international environment: multi-currencies, international GAAP and tax rules

• Knowledge of accounting ERP software (Oracle a plus)

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Proficient in Excel and Word

• Able to work independently and with a team in a fast paced, high volume environment with competing priorities

• Excellent communication skills, verbally and in writing

• Experience with Concur or other T&E system

• Occasional travel may be expected

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

• 6+ years Accounts Payable experience

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience with Oracle Cloud

• Experience with Zendesk

Compensation

In the United States, work locations are assigned a pay zone which determines the salary range for the position. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. These pay zones may be modified in the future.

The base salary range for this position is $126,000-$189,000 annually.

Zone B (https://careers.snap.com/us-payzones) :

The base salary range for this position is $120,000-$179,000 annually.

Zone C (https://careers.snap.com/us-payzones) :

The base salary range for this position is $107,000-$161,000 annually.

This position is eligible for equity in the form of RSUs.
