Camping World Full Stack Engineering Manager (Hybrid) in United States

We are looking for an experienced Full Stack Engineering Manager who is passionate about leading modern full stack delivery teams in an agile environment. This role involves coordinating with cross-functional teams, defining project scopes, delivering timelines and ensuring that digital initiatives align with the company's strategic goals. The team is focused on building high-priority product features as well as crafting solid technical foundations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and mentor a team of digital full stack and front-end engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment

  • Promote Agile principles such as continuous improvement, transparency, and cross-functional teamwork

  • Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of projects in an Agile environment. Ensuring that projects are completed on time, within scope, and to the desired quality standards

  • Build alignment and develop strong relationships with partners across multiple business verticals.

  • Act as the point of contact for technical discussions with product managers, providing feedback on solutions, scoping and determining timelines for all initiatives.

  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications and ensure alignment with project goals

  • Empower, challenge, and coach team members to grow their impact as individual technical leaders by providing them with context and continuous feedback.

  • Exemplify the Camping World culture by understanding, advocating, and demonstrating its values.

About You

  • You have 5+ years of building and leading high-performing Web UI engineering teams.

  • You have the ability to lead and motivate a team. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to manage conflicts and drive team performance

  • You are familiar with the unique challenges of serving developers as customers.

  • You’re well-versed in the technologies of the modern front-end landscape.

  • Experience with other front-end frameworks such as Angular or Vue

  • Experience with balanced unit, integration, and end-to-end testing

  • Experience with continuous integration/delivery (CI/CD)

  • You proactively give and receive feedback and are not afraid to have difficult conversations.

  • You are a human-centric leader who centers empathy and welcomes feedback.

  • You have a strong understanding of Agile principles, practices, and frameworks

  • You have exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

  • You foster an inclusive team culture that enables team members of all backgrounds to succeed and thrive.

Bonus Qualifications

  • AWS, K8s, Vercel, and Heroku

  • Playwright, Cypress or other similar end-to-end testing systems

  • React Hook Form and Yup

  • 3rd party UI libraries like MUI or similar

  • GraphQL, gRPC, or similar

  • Performance optimization for core web vitals

  • Datadog, New Relic or Grafana application monitoring

  • A love for functional programming, immutability

  • A distaste for side-effecting code

Pay Range:

$119,175.00-$178,788.75 Annual
