Jack Henry is looking for a new Associate Account Executive to join our team in the central U.S. The position is focused on maintaining and enhancing our customer relationships in the region by providing strategic and consultative sales experiences.

This position works closely with the region’s Senior Account Executives and promotes the assigned products and services of Jack Henry to their respective territories. Goals are accomplished by conducting evaluations and working with banks to understand their business needs and matching those needs to the many capabilities Jack Henry has to offer. Responsible for selling a specific list of solutions and services that could expand over time.

This is a remote position and up to 50% travel is required. Candidates can be based throughout the U.S. but preferred location is the central United States.

What you'll be responsible for:

  • 40% - Territory and account plan development to ensure sales objectives are achieved.

  • 35% - Sales calls; including on-site visits to existing Jack Henry clients promoting assigned Jack Henry Capabilities and Solutions to Jack Henry customers. This work is done in collaboration with Senior Account Executives assigned to accounts you will be selling in to.

  • 15% - Administrative and Account responsibilities including forecasting, opportunity management, product education as well as client liaison during any problem escalation.

  • 5% - Trade Shows, Bank Days, and other assigned regional assignments.

  • May perform other job duties as assigned.

    What you'll need to have:

  • 3+ years of professional sales experience.

  • Financial services experience.

    What would be nice for you to have:

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required.

  • Demonstrated presentation skills.

  • Efficient communication skills.

  • Detail oriented, analytical and a problem solver.

  • Wide latitude for independent judgment.

  • Salesforce.com working knowledge is a plus.
