Job Title: Substation Technician I | Vinita, Oklahoma Posting Date:April 10, 2024 *ExpirationDate:April 24, 2024 KAMO Power, located in Vinita, Oklahoma is in search of a *Substation Technician I. the work location will be the Vinita, OK facility. The Substation Technician I will assist in providing support in processing, maintaining, repairing and testing substation equipment to ensure safe and proper operations. Assists in testing and maintenance of all types of transformers, breakers, regulators, circuit switchers, capacitors, switches, power panels, batteries and reclosers. This position will also assist in the restoration of power during outages, as required. Ideal candidates will have a basic understanding of maintenance and testing procedures on various types of circuit breakers, transformers, metering equipment and switches (varying from 15 kV to 345 kV). Basic knowledge of AC and DC circuits, electrical schematics, physical design drawings, transformer applications, electro-mechanical devices and gauge calibration. An Associates Degree in Applied Science in Electronics or Electrical Engineering Technology is required. Equivalent industry experience in a related field may potentially be considered for substitution of degree requirements. All levels of experience will be considered.
