Job Description:

Leidos is looking for a Task Manager to work in Tyson's Corner. Must have a current active TS/SCI with Polygraph. Candidates who do not possess this level of clearance will not be considered.

The Task Manager is responsible for programmatic analysis support for the sponsor's office and managing a corporate action tracking system. Duties include performing quality control for the office tasking process, responding to formal inquiries, and other information requests. The position requires ease in developing positive and collaborative relationships and a willingness to learn more about the multifaceted sponsor's organization

Primary Responsibilities

  • Conduct research projects on topics that may result in recommendations to improve workflow, resource allocation, or new approaches with stakeholders.

  • Review and analyze available data to identify, verify, and characterize performance metrics.

  • Assist with the preparation of briefing manuals and coordination for upcoming meetings.

  • Provide senior leadership resource analysis support and recommendations on office planning, budget justification materials, talking points, and white papers.

  • Assist with managing a document-tracking database.

  • Communicate with senior leadership regarding matters of significant importance to the organization.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (or 2-4 years additional relevant experience) and 8 years of experience.

  • Must have an active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance. Candidates who do not currently possess this level of clearance will not be considered.

  • Broad understanding of technical principles, theories, concepts, and their application across various programs.

  • Demonstrate personal qualities of organization, intellectual curiosity, and dedication.

  • Proven leadership skills in a complex technical environment with tight security restrictions.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills to routinely respond to highly complex questions, clearly and concisely demonstrate superior customer service, and an ability to anticipate and respond to management needs.

  • A proven team player.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $101,400.00 - $183,300.00

The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
