Title: Solution Architect

Job Location: Syneren Technologies Corporation, 1577 Spring Hill Rd, Suite 410, Vienna, VA 22182 (right across from Spring Hill metro stop on silver line).

Job Description:

Syneren is seeking a Solution Architect. The ideal candidate thrives in a team atmosphere, takes pride in his/her work, and is committed to a highly proactive, process-driven approach. Delivering high-performance systems engineering and integration services throughout all phases of the program life cycle and architecture. The ideal candidate will be able to see projects through from initiation to completion, working closely with customers to define and refine the objectives, requirements, and features/enhancements to business applications. The candidate will get down into the weeds of the system/code to understand it, troubleshoot it, and develop/recommend fixes and/or enhancements to it.

Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will have the appropriate skills, knowledge, and experience to accomplish the following:

· Provide new project/proposal solution development.

· Determine suitability of existing system architecture and assist the government with adopting innovative and advanced technology for case management, data sharing, access controls, UI/UX, common cloud compute platforms, data standards and AI/ML algorithms and LLMs

· Document design, identify risks and risk mitigations, and prepare analysis of alternatives for government consideration.

· Research, test, build, and integrate enhancements or new products based on client requirements.

· Possess and apply expertise on multiple complex IT production problems.

· Define and assist in implementing organizational structures and supporting technology to facilitate effective acquisition activities.

· Provide technical guidance over project implementation including life cycle support of custom, COTS and hybrid solutions.

· Develop systems engineering planning and standards documents needed for each program/project.

· Work on a wide range of problems requiring the use of creative and imaginative thinking. Has gained recognition from peers and clients for technical expertise.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree or higher with considerable related experience.

· Experience with Microservices, SOA and modern system methodologies.

· Experience with Digital Transformation projects, IT systems, standards, and programming languages.

· Experience with deployment to Amazon Web Services and/or Azure is preferred.

· Active Secret Clearance preferred, but not required.

· Minimum of 5 years of experience in problem solving, technical management, planning, development, operation and control and life cycle support of IT systems.

· In depth knowledge and wide-ranging technical experience.

· Demonstrated expertise in software engineering practices (generating software specs, design patterns, and continuous integration).

· Demonstrated ability to understand and identify downstream impacts of changes within complex software systems.

· Demonstrated ability to consult and advise on best practices for software development and technology adoption.

· At least 3 years of leveraging Continuous Integration to improve quality of software delivery.

Preferred: IT, Cloud and Agile certifications
