Community Health Systems Echo Vascular Technologist-FT Day Shift w Call in VICKSBURG, Mississippi

Description

The Echo Vascular Technologist is responsible for obtaining diagnostic quality two-dimensional echocardiographic examinations according to pre-established guidelines. Schedules and observes time-management techniques according to departmental productivity and efficiency standards while observing a quality patient care experience. Intensive care experience must include all aspects of intensive care patient management and equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.

Completion of a diagnostic ultrasound program is required. One (1) year of clinical cardiac ultrasound experience in an acute setting is preferred. Candidate must demonstrate consistent quality and effective clinical practice and work ethics. Must demonstrate ability to develop and maintain strong interdepartmental working relationships with the Medical Staff, Department Leaders, and Hospital Staff throughout the facility. Must exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills throughout patient and family populations the facility serves. Must be capable of working independently and autonomously. Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or American Registry Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (ARDMS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) in Vascular Sonography (or within 24 months of hire into the department). BLS Certification is required (or within 30 days of hire into the department).
