Position Summary:
The Office Coordinator provides clerical support to the Environmental Services Department including - filing, telephone work orders, inventories, ordering supplies, maintaining records, setting appointments, department meeting coordination, among other duties.
Qualifications:
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS High School Diploma/Equivalent General Studies or Three years (3) experience in a secretarial setting. CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE REQUIREMENTS None Specified EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS Three (3) General - Secretary SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE Clerical skills - typing, filing, scheduling, report development and maintenance. General computer knowledge.
Essential Functions:
Answer telephone, take and deliver messages according to department communication standards.
Answers housekeeping requests from hospital staff and dispatches them to appropriate housekeeper.
Assists in the coordination of administrative and staffing activities in assigned department.
Maintains department procedure manuals to comply with regulatory requirements.
Performs a variety of clerical duties in support of maintaining, compiling, auditing, and/or processing files.
Performs secretarial duties for the Environmental Services Department.
