    Position Summary:

    The Office Coordinator provides clerical support to the Environmental Services Department including - filing, telephone work orders, inventories, ordering supplies, maintaining records, setting appointments, department meeting coordination, among other duties.

    Qualifications:

    EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS High School Diploma/Equivalent General Studies or Three years (3) experience in a secretarial setting. CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE REQUIREMENTS None Specified EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS Three (3) General - Secretary SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE Clerical skills - typing, filing, scheduling, report development and maintenance. General computer knowledge.

    Essential Functions:

  • Answer telephone, take and deliver messages according to department communication standards.

  • Answers housekeeping requests from hospital staff and dispatches them to appropriate housekeeper.

  • Assists in the coordination of administrative and staffing activities in assigned department.

  • Maintains department procedure manuals to comply with regulatory requirements.

  • Performs a variety of clerical duties in support of maintaining, compiling, auditing, and/or processing files.

  • Performs secretarial duties for the Environmental Services Department.
