JOB REQUIREMENTS: This professional Registered Nurse (RN) position is responsible for providing direct and indirect patient care to a mostly geriatric and/or disabled population. WDVA\'s RNs provide direction to other staff in the provision and coordination of resident care and monitor care given by other health team members on a unit or floor or in a building. All activities are performed in accordance with applicable industry standards of practice, facility policies/procedures, and state and federal rules and regulations. Core Shifts Available AM 1st shift - 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. PM 2nd shift - 2:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. NOC 3rd shift - 10:30 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. We have part time and full time positions available with most available on PM or NOC shift. Nurse Clinician 2 positions work multiple shifts, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed. Job duties require the ability to assist in patient mobility efforts, stand and/or walk up to 75% of eight-hour day to provide assessments, kneel, stoop, make visual observations, lift, push, pull, carry, reach, maintain hygiene, use special safety equipment, and wear protective clothing. Employment in this position is contingent upon passing a pre-employment tuberculosis (TB) skin test. Due to the nature of the positions, WDVA will conduct a criminal background check prior to any offer of employment. A 12-month probationary period may be required.
