Job Title: SDET II

Assignment Location: Remote or 320 S Boston Ave, Tulsa, OK

Job Description:

An SDET II is responsible for ensuring the quality of a software product through the design, development, execution, and maintenance of complex test scripts and test automation frameworks. This role requires collaboration with the Project Inc. team and software development groups to integrate SDET and Unit Testing. The candidate should be able to mentor junior team members and provide recommendations for improving the overall testing process.

Duties Include:

  • Developing and maintaining test automation frameworks and scripts.

  • Analyzing and reporting test results to the development team, highlighting areas of concern and recommending improvements.

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure that quality is built into the software development process.

  • Staying up-to-date with the latest test automation technologies and methodologies and continuously improving skills and knowledge.

  • Mentoring junior team members, providing guidance and support in testing methodologies, programming languages, and testing tools.

  • Progressively contributing to the leadership of automated test scripting and strategies.

  • Working with programmers to define and create unit test cases for Apex.

Experience Required:

This level of knowledge is normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems, or 4-7 years of automated software testing experience. Additional experience can be used in lieu of a degree. Test Automation certifications are preferred.

  • Experience with Apex code and Apex test class development

  • Intermediate Research and Troubleshooting skills

  • Experience testing infrastructure and/or Cloud Technologies – AWS, Microservices, APIs etc.

  • Intermediate experience with object-oriented programming principles/standards and architecture

  • Ability to optimize codebases for enterprise scalability

  • Intermediate understanding of a DevSecOps environment

  • Elevated attention to detail

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Excellent SDLC (agile, waterfall, etc.) knowledge

  • Intermediate experience with API testing

  • Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, Ruby, or C# to write efficient and effective automated tests

  • Excellent understanding of Data Structures, Data Modeling and Design

  • Strong collaboration with Project team members to advance automation

  • Maintain and elevate knowledge of industry trends and advancements

Contract Duration: 6+ months

Bill Rate: up to 115-120/HR so 55-77/HR pay
