System One is searching for an IT Manager for a Tulsa-based industrial manufacturing company. The ideal candidate will have prior management experience and have a strong background in SAP and manufacturing.

Summary

The IT Manager’s role is to ensure the streamlined operation of the IT department in alignment with the business objectives of the organization through hands-on management of the following core IT functions: ERP (SAP), Network, EDI, Infrastructure. This position bridges the gap between ERP, IT and the business. The IT Manager will plan, coordinate, direct and design IT-related activities of the organization, as well as provide administrative direction and support for daily operational activities of the IT department. The IT Manager will work closely with decision makers in other departments to identify, recommend, develop, implement and support cost-effective technology solutions for all aspects of the organization. The IT Manager will also define and implement IT policies, procedures and best practices.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• SAP management: project scoping and planning for modules (SD, WM, MM, PP), including planned migration to SAP S/4HANA (from ECC) in 2026

• IT project management utilizing various tools, including Smartsheet portfolio solutions.

• Incident Management, using Service Desk Plus or equivalent tools.

  Supervisory Responsibilities

  Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include:

• Interviewing, hiring, and training employees

• Planning, assigning, and directing work

• Appraising performance

• Rewarding and disciplining employees

• Addressing complaints and resolving problems.

  Education and/or Experience

• Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university with a major in an IT-related field; or five to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

• Previous experience with SAP systems and EDI is required.

  Knowledge Requirements

• Broad knowledge of ERP systems, with specific knowledge of SAP, and EDI implementation & maintenance is required.

• Knowledge of networks, WANs (Wide Area Networks).
