Job Description:

We are seeking skilled Class 1 Fitters who prioritize safety while demonstrating exceptional productivity and expertise in cutting, fitting, and tack welding various components of heat exchangers, vessels, and towers. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 5 years\' experience fitting pressure vessels or heat exchangers, along with a minimum of 3 years\' experience with Sub-Arc. Proficiency in fitting metal components to meet established standards and codes in the assembly and manufacturing of pressure vessels and heat exchangers is essential. Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience in thermal cutting and welding processes are required, as well as the ability to interpret AutoCAD prints accurately for specifications and dimensions. Candidates should demonstrate proficiency in operating oxy/fuel cutting torches and Plas-Arc machines, along with the ability to tack weld per code and within weld procedure requirements. Strong mathematical skills and a solid understanding of geometry are necessary. We value self-motivated leaders who can work with minimal supervision, ensuring tasks are completed safely and on schedule. Collaboration is key, and the ability to work effectively within a team to achieve company objectives is essential. A strong sense of pride in workmanship, punctuality, and dependability are crucial attributes. Flexibility to work outside standard hours to meet project deadlines is required, along with a commitment to maintaining a fit-up rejection rate of less than 5%.

Physical Requirements:

This position will be exposed to welding fumes and gases, and dust from grinder: use of PPE imperative. Work area is not climate controlled so extreme heat/cold may be experienced.
