As a Maintenance Technician at The Bama Companies, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production facility in Tulsa, OK. Your expertise in troubleshooting and repairing systems, such as PLCs, motor controls, and electrical wiring, will be put to the test as you work on a variety of industrial mechanical systems including pneumatics, bearings, and gears. You'll have the opportunity to work with automated equipment setup and teardown, utilizing shop machinery and industrial tools to keep everything running efficiently. Would you be a great D2408 - BFD Maintenance Technician; 2nd?

To be successful as a Maintenance Technician at The Bama Companies, you must possess a diverse skill set. Proficiency in at least five of the following areas is essential: automated equipment setup, teardown, and repair; PLC troubleshooting; maintenance and repair of motor controls, industrial wiring, and electrical systems; AC inverters and DC controllers maintenance; strong electrical skills; mechanical systems maintenance including pneumatics, bearings, gears, chains, sprockets, pipe fitting, and lubrication; and basic Mig and Tig welding for repair purposes. Having a solid foundation in these areas, along with a willingness to learn and adapt, will equip you for success in this dynamic role in our Tulsa, OK facility. Knowledge and skills required for the position are:

  • Must be proficient in at least 5 of the following areas and have basic knowledge of the others: •Automated equipment setup

  • teardown and repair •PLC troubleshooting •Maintenance and repair of motor controls

  • general industrial wiring and hardware

  • and electrical troubleshooting •Maintenance and repair of AC inverters

  • DC controllers and servers •Strong electrical skill set •Maintenance and repair of mechanical systems including pneumatics
