Robert Half is working with a local developer/property management firm who is offering an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join their team! In this role, you will be responsible for handling vendor invoices, data entry, check runs, reviewing statements, and maintaining vendor files. This role is 100% on-site in the Tukwila, WA area and is a permanent opportunity. Apply today!

Responsibilities Include:

• Accurately process and enter vendor invoices into the system for payment

• Conduct regular check runs to ensure timely payments to vendors

• Review vendor statements to verify that all payments have been made

• Maintain and update vendor files to ensure accurate record-keeping

• Manage relationships with vendors and address any inquiries or issues

• Reconcile account payables with the general ledger on a regular basis

• Utilize the Construction and Property Management system for data entry and invoice processing

• Process tenant refunds and ensure they are mailed out promptly

• Handle incoming and outgoing mail related to accounts payable

• File and organize documents for easy retrieval and auditing purposes.

Salary and Benefits:

The salary range for this position is $50,000-$55,000 annually. Benefits offered with this position include Medical/Dental/Vision insurance, participation in the company's 401k (with potential for year-end bonus to be added by the company), 52 hours of sick time in the first year, 1 week of PTO in the first year, and 7 paid holidays.

Requirements

• AA or bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance/Business preferred, but not required.

• Experience in Accounts Payable (AP)

• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation

• Knowledge of Check Runs

• Ability to Code Invoices

• Strong Data Entry skills

• Expertise in Invoice Processing

• Experience in Maintaining Vendor Files

• Ability to Manage Vendor Relationships
